I am a licensed acupuncturist in private practice in Oakland, CA. I am also an instructor in the Master’s program at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences, and lead continuing education workshops for acupuncturists.
I received my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. I completed my Master’s of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland. I attended the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and the University of California, Berkeley, completing my BA in religious studies with a focus in Buddhism.
I specialize in women’s health with advanced training in reproductive health and fertility medicine. I also have extensive training in prenatal and postpartum care. Through my clinical doctoral studies, I interned with acupuncturist-midwife Raven Lang, OMD, L.Ac., founder of the Santa Cruz Birth Center, the first birth center in North America. I also interned at NYU Lutheran Medical Center on the Labor and Delivery ward with Claudia Citkovitz, MS, L.Ac., Director of Acupuncture, assisting women in labor.
I also treat a wide range of general health conditions, such as chronic pain, acute injuries, stress, anxiety, sleep issues, and digestive disorders.
